HOGLE ZOO

We went to Hogle Zoo today with two of our neighbors and Kassie and her kids. It was so much fun! The kids had fun being together and of course so did we. It was really hot though!

Carlee and one of her many boyfriends, Cash.

This was really cool. The leopard was coming right up to the window. He just kept running from one end to the other. Bodie was a little freaked out!

He looks like he wants to eat the kids.

Yesterday Brandon and Andrea moved to Arizona! We are so sad that they are gone but excited for them! They have always been so cute with Bodie and Carlee.
We will miss you guys!

CAMPING

This weekend we went camping up American Fork Canyon. We just went for one night, which was enough. It was Carlee's first camping trip. She did pretty good. She didn't like the uneven ground. It was hard for her to walk on.
Keeping warm with Daddy

Getting fire wood. So helpful!

The tent was Carlee's favorite place to play. We thought that was great because we could lock her in there away from bugs and the fire.

Her hair was so funny when she got up. We had along night:)

Our view from camp lookd over Heber.

Cooking hotdogs

Bodie told me today that next time we go camping we should bring the microwave. The last time we took Bodie camping was when I was pregnant with Carlee. He's not quite used to roughing it. He also got to experience going to the bathroom out doors! That was an adventure!

FISHING

On Friday night we went fishing at a cute little pond in Highland. It's a great place for kids and stocked with fish. We caught...well Phil...5 0r 6 fish in about two hours.

Phil caught the big one of the night. He was very proud. A big, ugly catfish. We gave it to the people next to us to take home and eat.

Carlee and I just threw rocks in the water.

Bodie wasn't sure about touching the fish. Phil was trying to get him to kiss it.
He wouldn't.

The Itsy Bitsy Spider

Bodie is so sweet and gentle with his new little cousin, Landon.

He was singing to him yesterday. It is so cute. You might want to pause the music on the right hand side so you can hear him sing.

Finally....

Ok, so sorry if everyone is sick of the MTC, missionary, farewell posts. But today was the end of all the craziness. We dropped my parents off at the MTC this morning. It's way different than with the young missionaries. There is no program for the families, you just drop them off. We were lucky today and my little brother got to come and see us as we dropped the parents off. He leaves for Canada today. He was so cute and excited to get to Canada. It was fun to see him!! Love you, Devan!

And they're out of here...sort of. They are at the MTC for a week and are done everyday at 5:00, so we can go to dinner with them a couple times before they go!
