Fun Weekend

We had a busy weekend. It was Round Up Days here in the big town of Lehi. We went to a stock parade on Thursday and then to the rodeo on Friday night. We went with our friends, the Bunkers.

"Bunker Lindsay" and Ashley helping out with Carlee at the rodeo. I couldn't have had her sit on my lap throught the whole thing, so I was so glad for the help.

Saturday morning we loaded up Ruby Sue and headed up the canyon to spend the night. We stopped and did a little fishing on the way to our camping spot.

We had no luck.

My cute little chickens.

Saturday night Phil's family came up to have dinner with us. It was Phil's mom, Lorraine's birthday. It was really fun to have them come up. Syd played her guitar for us, she is getting so good.

Phil made his mom an upsidedown pineapple cake in the dutch oven and we sang Happy Birthday! It was really yummy!

Cell Phone Pictures

I take a million pictures on my phone and they just seem to get lost from one phone to the next. I was looking through them the other day and there were a few I wanted to save...so here they are.

Carlee trying on my glasses. (With beautiful morning hair, I might add)

Bodie's sad face when he was getting stitches. I can't get over the sad look on his face.

Sitting at the counter eating lunch.

Soaking her feet at the lake.

Riding the gator. Carlee loves to give kisses to all!

Dressing up in the hula gear from Nana.

I was trying to learn how to tie dye shirts for girl's camp, so I made on for each of my kids. Carlee looking like a babe in hers!

Cowgirl Carlee

Carlee writing her name with no help. It looked so cute I had to take a picture of it!

Fishing with the fam

For Father's Day we went fishing with Phil's family. We had a picnic and then fished. The kids had so much fun! They all had these little fishing poles that they would just cast out and bring back in. They had little plastic fish hooked to the end, it was great! It was fun to get out and do something with Phil since he hasn't been feeling good for so long.

We didn't have much luck fishing, but finally when we were ready to go, Phil pulled in his line and there was a little catfish on his hook.

Phil's 30th B-day

Phil turned thirty last week and since he was home recovering from his surgery we got to spend the whole day with him. That night we went to his mom's house for a bbq with his family. I made him a fish cake and was very proud of how it turned out!

Josh, Carlee and Bodie helping blow out the candles. At our family birthday parties the candles get blown out 5 or 6 times.

T-Baller

Bodie started playing t-ball this year and it is so fun! His team is the "Green Ironman".
He is learning a lot and loving it!

Getting lots of help from daddy....

and his coach.

Carlee found a cute little boy to play with at every game. When she says bye to him, she wraps her arms around his neck and plants a kiss on his cheek. We're in trouble!!:)

Bodie's best cheerleader. She is always yelling, "Go Bodie!!"

Bodie and his English accent

This week Bodie and Carlee got a package in the mail from our friends in England. They sent Bodie a "Fireman Sam" fire helmet. It is from a little show that is from England, but Bodie watches it On Demand. He was so excited when he got it! He really hasn't taken it off.

This video is of him pretending to be Fireman Sam working at Pondy Pandy Fire Station.

This is Bodie imitating the "Charlie Bit My Finger" You Tube video. He cracks us up with his little accent.

She really can't help it....

She's just that cute!! :)

Phil's New Back

Last week Phil got a MUCH needed back surgery! He had been in terrible pain for the last three months. He had back surgery five years ago, but the same two discs herniated again, only worse. They had to fuse his spine this time. He was in surgery for about 4 and half hours. He went into surgery on Friday and stayed in the hospital till Monday.
He was really sore when he first came home and I had to help him with quite a bit, but each day he is getting stronger and stronger. We go for walks everyday, which is the best thing he can do for it right now. The kids have been so cute with him! Bodie will lay in bed with him for hours just to keep him company. It is pretty sweet!

This is a picture of his new back.
(It is upside down though).
