ZERMATT RESORT

We stayed at the Zermatt Resort in Midway this weekend with Phil's family. It was so much fun. The weather was so nice! We swam everyday. The kids had such a great time! I even got to lay out, since we had so much help with the kids!

It was a great place to get away to, and still close to home.

They had this cool little carousel at the resort. Bodie loved it.

GRANDPA LANCE

Grandpa Lance is so fun with the kids! From the time they are six months (I am not kidding) he is throwing them around, doing flips and whatever else they will let him. Sometimes it makes me nervous, but Bodie and Carlee LOVE getting thrown around! Grandpa tossed the kids on the bed here for over a half hour. Watch the videos, they are short, but funny! They don't look like they go very high, but when I saw it the first time, it freaked me out.

What the %#*@!!

I don't really know where this all started.....but Phil is working on a job out at the Kennecott Refinery. They had to shut down operation on the plant to finish the job, so Phil has to have guys on the job 24-7.

He decided that since it's such an intense job, they should all get mohawks to lighten up the mood. So, Phil came home and asked for a mohawk. A couple of days later he wants it blue. So being the great wife I am, we bleached out his hair (the first time Phil had ever had ANY color on his hair) and colored it blue.

Bleach done, he looks bald down the middle.

And.....BLUE!! I did it last Friday, so the blue has faded, but he likes it this color.

You can see his "highlights" fading through.

These are some of the guys at work that did mohawks. And as you can see, most of them got creative with color too!

They crack me up! I will be glad when the mohawk goes..hopefully in the next week or two! If you know Phil, you know how funny this is:)

MORE BASEMENT...

We got doors, trim, shelves, tile and paint. Its getting so close. I am ready. My laundry room was taped off for five days. I had to wash laundry at my sisters house.

This is disgusting!! This spa in Virginia is offering pedicures where these fish eat off your dead skin and calises. Ok, I think that is wrong! They have to poop, and I do not want to be soaking my feet in fish poop water.

BAD HAIR DAY

Carlee's hair kills me. When she wakes up it looks SO FUNNY! It is always huge and a mess. This particular hairdo she had pigtails, took them out before bed, and here you have it!

I think I used to have these bangs in elementary school:)

MAXIMUS

For those of you who knew me before I had kids, which is most of you, you remember my dog, Maximus. He has a new home with my cute little sister-in-law, Sydney. Well this last week we got to watch Maximus for her while she was gone to Arizona. Bodie and Carlee had so much fun with him. Bodie would put him on his leash and lead him around the house, feed him one piece of dog food at a time. I am sure Maximus was more than ready to go home. But he was a great sport!

Last weekend we went down to Nephi for Carl and Danielle's daughter, Ella's blessing. Bodie is going through the cowboy stage and he loves to sing. He will perform anytime, for anyone. This was his biggest audience to date. There was probably thirty plus people. Danielle's aunt had her camera and got some great shots of Cowboy Bodie at his finest. He was singing songs by George Strait from the movie, Pure Country.

I think this one is my favorite.

BASEMENT

OK Mom, this is for you!

We are finishing our basement. And since my mom is on her mission, she wants to see all the EXCITING stages it goes through. My mom was a construction worker in a previous life:)

The company that is doing it is "Thirty Day Baesement". We'll see if they live up to their name .
