NANA AND PAPA'S FAREWELL

We went back to Boise for my parents farewell this weekend. It was fun to see everyone again. After my parents spoke in church eveyone went back to my parents house. Jeremiah blessed Landon and then we had a yummy Hawaiian themed lunch. I had to take a picture it looked so pretty!

Nana and Carlee

Carson is so funny. He wouldn't let anyone take his lei's off. He kept gathering more and more.

Cowboy Bodie made an apperance with Gavin.

My brother Jeremy came from Arizona. I was so glad he came. We just don't see him and his family enough!!

My family minus Devan, who is in the MTC.

Jeff and Sandie

Cowboy Carlee.

If Bodie leaves his boots or hat around Carlee puts them on and struts around the house.

ROPING

Bodie is so dang funny lately. The whole cowboy thing is not getting old to him at all. As soon as he wakes up, he needs his rope and his hat. He is starting to wear tennis shoes again sometimes though. Every afternoon when Carlee naps, Bodie has quiet time and usually watches a movie. His favorite movie at the moment is 'Pure Countrty,' which he watches everyday. The other day I walked in the room where he was watching it and he goes, "Mom, can I have a beer?" It was so funny. He doesn't even know what it is, but if a cowboy is doing it, he needs to be doing it. I laughed and he said, "Mom, just get me one!"

His favorite place to visit right now is Thanksgiving Point because he can ride a horse. He usually rides three or four times each time we go. He is a crack up. I love this stage! This video is of him riding. And since I won't let him bring his rope with him, he is "practicing roping."

SUNDAY PICNIC

On Sunday we had beautiful weather, so we decided to take advantage and have a picnic. We went to this cool park in Highland. It had a pond that people were fishing in and cool paths all around. It felt like you were up the canyon. Jeremiah. Kassie, Carson and Landon came with us.

This is how Bodie smiles for every picture.

I know I am partial....but what a babe!

"Partners"

Bodie calls Phil his partner.

It's bigger than her, but she has to carry it around.

THE MTC

We took my little brother, Devan to the MTC yesterday. He was so excited and it made it easier for all of us...except my mom. She was getting nervous because she goes there herself in two weeks!
He really was relaxed! Stuffing his face at Olive Garden before the drop off!

Uncle Devan and Carson. I love this picture of both of them!

Getting his missionary badge.

That piece of hair across my forehaed was so annoying all day.

FEEDING THE MEAN GEESE

While we were in Boise visiting, we went to feed the ducks with my sister, Katie and her son Gavin. When we showed up to the park all there were were really aggressive geese. They were stealing the bread right out of the kids hands, hissing and even trying to nip. Carlee wouldn't even get down out of Katies arms.

Ok so they don't look mean in this picture, but they were.

Bodie took matters in to his own hands by kicking dirt at them. He wasn't scared because, and I quote "Cowboys are tough!"

I Know!! It is cowboy boots and shorts. You try to tell him he can't wear it!

These are much nicer ducks!

BABY LANDON

Well ok so I'm a little behind, but my sister, Kassie had her baby on April 23rd. He weighed 4 lbs 13 oz. He was SO small and so cute. He had the most perfect shaped head. They had to keep him in the NICU for five days to keep his blood sugar up. But he his home...his new home, Utah....and doing well. He is almost 6 lbs. now. Carson, his big brother, loves to kiss him. He grabs his head and lays one on him. He is working on being more gentle!
This is in the NICU. Three days lod. His arm was as wide as my thumb.

Landon on his first day home from the hospital.

This is so you can see how small he is. The other foot is Vincente, my four month old nephew.

So tired!!

Big Brother!
